The museum's community group members had learned about our local butterflies and identified some of the host plants they rely on. The kids found painted turtles, a garter snake, bull frog tadpoles, green frog tadpoles and salamander larvae. The students were able to identify the many species including Starling (small flock), Mourning Dove, Juncos (good views), Cardinal, House Finch, House Sparrow, and American Crow.
