Marion Natural History Museum 233 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum would like to thank Mike and Jake Cronin for providing another exciting rocket program last week. The museum’s after-school group had a chance to hear about engines and what goes into making a rocket. Then the students built their own rockets, with nosecones, parachutes and motors and went outside to launch them. The program was a huge success, and all the rockets were successfully launched. The museum’s upcoming programs are available at marionmuseum.org. Photo courtesy of

Marion Art Center232 viewsThe Marion Art Center’s latest show Emergence (now through May 6) is a delicate intermixing of tones, textures and artistic expression capturing natural themes.
