Marion Natural History Museum339 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum's Coastal Explorations summer nature program had a wonderful time last week exploring a diverse selection of natural areas. We investigated marshes, bogs, vernal pools, and upland forest habitats and the plants and animals that call these areas home. The museum would like to thank the Marion Harbormaster's office for allowing us access to Bird Island to take a look at some of our more rare and endangered birds and their nesting habitat.
