Main Street was closed to traffic so visitors could enjoy several booths full of goods for sale, along with sports equipment, while visiting the Penny Pinchers’ Exchange, a lobster roll or a burger or dog from the grill. Arts in the Park242 viewsSeveral hundred people came out to enjoy the annual Arts in the Park fundraiser hosted by the Marion Art Center on July 10. Forty artists who had been invited by a MAC jury to participate featured their crafts and art objects. The jury ensures the quality of the items on display and also gives up-and-coming artisans a platform to showcase their work.
