Dan Crete and his family sought to add this one-of-a-kind addition to their home to be used as a gathering place for his friends and family using no nails, handmade pegs, a lot of manpower and a little bit of Yankee ingenuity. We took a close look at the insides of cranberries to discover what makes them float, counted seeds - which tell us how many times a plant was fertilized by a bee – and had a chance to see how far we could "bounce" a berry. Cushing Community Center on Sunday, December 8. ‘Chief’ Santa and Mrs. Claus entertained the little ones before enjoying a pizza lunch.
