The pop-up sale at the clubhouse, 152 Front Street, is held on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the proceeds funding Marion student scholarships. The Illuminate to Educate fundraiser replaces the Holiday House Tour that was cancelled due to COVID-19. The Marion community is encouraged to light up our streets in celebration of Independence Day Holiday.

Library Zoo328 viewsLauren Paine of Pine Meadows Farm located in Mattapoisett, along with her father, Jeff, brought members of their “herd” to the Elizabeth Taber Library in Marion on July 8. Well over 100 people of all ages enjoyed the opportunity to visit with and learn about exotic animals. The younger members of the crowd listened intently as they heard about the eating habits and habitats of bearded dragons, Nigerian goats, lop-eared rabbits, tortoises, and alpacas, for which the farm is known. Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run 327 views Sunday, May 4 was a perfect day for a fun run through Marion, and about 200 people turned out to participate in VASE’s second annual Sippican Schooner 5k and Mini Fun Run to raise money for educational programs at Sippican Elementary School. Second Annual Kid’s Equipment Day327 viewsLittle kids and big, big machines on a warm spring Marion morning made for tons of fun at the Marion Recreation’s Second Annual Kid’s Equipment Day on May 10. A row of different Town-owned vehicles including a police cruiser, ambulance, earth diggers, a fire engine, and fire trucks lined the Town House field.
