Celebrating the 4th681 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor. Dixieland in Marion680 viewsThe Dixie Diehards returned to the Marion Art Center on Saturday, April 26 for a performance at 7:30 pm. The group was formed in August, 2006 and is made up of men who are traditional jazz and Dixieland music enthusiasts, many of whom are also members of the long-established Stone Street Strummers Banjo Band. Tickets will be available at the front gate for those who don’t have any and all proceeds will go towards various community programs and events that the Marion Police Brotherhood supports throughout the year.
