St. Gabriel's Church Youth Group 442 viewsOn Saturday, January 25, St. Gabriel's Church Youth Group in Marion, hosted a Spaghetti Dinner to raise funds for our summer mission trip to North Carolina for hurricane relief efforts. Our team of 20 teens & 6 adults made all of the food and served the meal. We had a sold-out event! It was a fun evening of good food, great fellowship & awesome live music. Santa's Arrival441 viewsMarion children gave a rock star’s welcome to Santa Claus, who arrived at Marion’s Annual Holiday Stroll by boat on December 13. The pouring rain didn’t stop Santa from spreading candy and holiday cheer to the crowd of exciting children. Coastal Sweep441 viewsLed by Marion resident Peter McDonald, environmentally-minded locals and Tabor students descended upon Marion’s Silvershell Beach and Planting Island, Mattapoisett Town Beach and Wareham’s Onset Beach to pick up trash and debris on the morning of September 17, 2011. The residents cleaned the beaches in solidarity with 400,000 individuals in 120 countries, all who participated in a global beach cleanup orchestrated by the Ocean Conservancy.
