St. Gabriel's Church Youth Group 444 viewsOn Saturday, January 25, St. Gabriel's Church Youth Group in Marion, hosted a Spaghetti Dinner to raise funds for our summer mission trip to North Carolina for hurricane relief efforts. Our team of 20 teens & 6 adults made all of the food and served the meal. We had a sold-out event! It was a fun evening of good food, great fellowship & awesome live music. Boston Post Cane443 viewsAt 99 years old, Marion resident Caroline Derocha smiles as she accepts the Boston Post Cane, which is awarded to the oldest resident of each town. Ms. Derocha, who raised her family in Marion, said that her children and husband were “very good” to her. Ms. Derocha celebrates a long life of hard work.
