Cushing Post 2425 Veterans of Foreign Wars. We took a close look at the insides of cranberries to discover what makes them float, counted seeds - which tell us how many times a plant was fertilized by a bee – and had a chance to see how far we could "bounce" a berry. Dan Crete and his family sought to add this one-of-a-kind addition to their home to be used as a gathering place for his friends and family using no nails, handmade pegs, a lot of manpower and a little bit of Yankee ingenuity. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor.
