Antique Car Show366 views It was a great turnout for the Agawam’s 3rd Annual Antique Car Show at Washburn Park in Marion on Saturday, August 29. Classic car entrants signed their antique automobiles up for a chance to win first, second, or third place in the show. The sponsoring group, Agawam Chapter No. 121 Order of the Eastern Star, uses the proceeds from the event to benefit various charities the group supports. 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot366 viewsThere were 31 registered runners for this year’s 5th Annual 5K Turkey Trot for Marion Recreation on Sunday, November 22. The course takes runners from Tabor Academy down Front Street through the village and back again to Tabor. Hot to Trot366 viewsThe third annual “Hot to Trot” dog walk hosted by the Sippican Lands Trust brought about 20 dogs and at least twice as many humans out for a post-Thanksgiving walk at the SLT’s White Eagle property in Marion on November 29. Marion Christmas Stroll 366 viewsThe Marion Christmas Stroll is one of the quintessential holiday events in Tri-Town, with Santa making his grand entrance via boat and hopping aboard a horse-drawn carriage to ride through Marion village with some lucky kids who hop aboard with him. Kids Equipment Fun Day366 viewsSaturday, May 7, was the date for the annual Kids Equipment Fun Day at Washburn Park in Marion, sponsored by Marion Recreation. The kids climbed aboard ambulances, fire trucks, police cruisers, and even the harbormaster’s boat.
