Breakfast with Santa367 viewsMarion’s Police Brotherhood held its 3rd annual toy drive and pancake breakfast with Santa at Sippican School on December 6. Families were asked to bring new unwrapped toys, and in return they were given a delicious pancake breakfast and a photo with Santa. The toys are being donated to the Justice Resource Institute, which provides a wide range of services to at-risk families and individuals. Photos by Marilou Newell

Sippican Lands Trust367 viewsThe viewing platform at Peirson Woods on Point Road, Marion is complete and the property is now reopened. The Sippican Lands Trust wants to thank the Town because the platform would not have been possible without funding from the Community Preservation Act Fund. This platform is more stable, bigger and overall safer for visitors to our property.

Marion Village 5K367 viewsThe Marion Village 5K is in its 19th year, and over 250 participants turned out to run the 3.1-mile course along the waterfront and through the quaint Marion village.
