Marion Council on Aging411 viewsThe Marion Council on Aging held a St. Patrick's Day "Grab N Go" luncheon on Tuesday at the Cushing Community Center. Seniors were treated to a drive-thru pickup of a boxed lunch featuring potato leek soup, a corned beef Rueben sandwich with sauerkraut and Russian dressing served with kettle-cooked chips, a dill pickle, and pistachio cake for dessert. The pouring rain didnt stop Santa from spreading candy and holiday cheer to the crowd of exciting children. Pinewood Derby410 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month.
