The Sippican Lands Trust wants to thank the Town because the platform would not have been possible without funding from the Community Preservation Act Fund. Marion Village 5K316 viewsThe Marion Village 5K is in its 19th year, and over 250 participants turned out to run the 3.1-mile course along the waterfront and through the quaint Marion village. The course takes runners from Tabor Academy down Front Street through the village and back again to Tabor. The kids climbed aboard ambulances, fire trucks, police cruisers, and even the harbormaster’s boat. Marion Memorial Day316 viewsRochester fared far better with its Memorial Day celebration than Marion and Mattapoisett did with theirs on rainy Monday. Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade.
