Marion Village 5K416 viewsThe number of participants in this year’s Marion Village 5K might have been down slightly according to race organizers, but the sentiment of fun and competition certainly was not on Saturday, June 25. Taking first place for men was Andrew Sukeforth of Middleboro with a time of 15:43, and Meg Hughes of Rochester won first place in the women’s division with a time of 19:50. Little Neck Village 416 viewsMore than 25 residents of Little Neck Village in Marion recently celebrated the property’s 5th annual Summer Hawaiian Luau. Residents enjoyed traditional Hawaiian food and entertainment that included a sing along, limbo, drums and a resident dance contest.

We covered the development of this anadromous species, its diet, and where it stands in the food chain.
