Cushing VFW Post 2425, which in return gave a moving farewell as it disbanded this year and donated the VFW building to the town. The museum lost many of its specimens during our ceiling collapse and these incredibly detailed pieces are greatly appreciated. Police Dedication382 viewsThe public was invited to a building dedication and ceremony for the new Marion police station on July 10, 2010. The town appropriated $3.8 million for the new building, which replaces the old police station on Spring Street. Among those in attendance were Police Chief Lincoln Miller, the Marion police department, the Board of Selectmen, Town Administrator Paul Dawson, Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald and members of the Police Station Building Committee. South Coast Chamber Music382 viewsThe South Coast Chamber Music Society performed selections from Schnittke, Schubert and Brahms during their performance at St. Gabriel’s Church on Saturday evening, March 3.
