Pinewood Derby333 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month. Other awards included, Best Theme to Connor Lavoie for his Batmobile, Best Design to David Strom for Kool Kone and Best Paint Job to Max Richins for Bulldog. Photos by Felix Perez

Veteran's Day 2013333 viewsThe Tri-Town honored veterans on Monday with moving programs. In Marion, the parade included Cub Scout Pack 32, Master of Ceremonies Joe Napoli, and the Sippican School Band. In Mattpoisett, Daniel Mazzuca gave a speech that focused on what our country can do for veterans in need of jobs, housing, and mental health services.
