Life of a Dog439 views“Clark Davis And Her Dogs” is the theme of the Marion Art Center's Fourth of July float, which will be in the Marion parade on July 5. Cecil Clark Davis (1877-1955), an animal lover, was one of Marion's most famous artist residents and is remembered for her elegant portraits. In the spirit of Cecil and her dogs, the Marion Art Center invites dog owners to participate in their festive float for the "WestMarionster Dog Show." The parade route is about two miles. Pinewood Derby439 viewsOn Saturday, March 2nd 2013, The Cubs Scout Pack 32 held a pinewood derby at the Community Hall of the Congregational Church in Marion. The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month.
