Bike Safety Day729 viewsThe Marion Police Department sponsored a Bicycle Safety Day for children and young adults at Silvershell Beach on Saturday morning, August 2. The day included bicycle safety information, a rodeo course and certificate awards for all participants. In addition, the Marion Police Department was awarded a statewide grant by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security to provide 75 bicycle helmets during the event. Choral Concert728 viewsMembers of the Sippican Choral Society will present their annual Spring Concert on Friday and Saturday evenings, April 25 and April 26 at Saint Gabriel’s Church, 124 Front Street in Marion. Tickets may be purchased at the Seaport Village Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe in Mattapoisett, The Bookstall in Marion, and at Baker Books in North Dartmouth. A limited number of tickets will also be available at the door. Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for children ages 12 and under.
