Bird Island Trip457 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum after-school group enjoyed another perfect trip to Bird Island with the Marion Harbormaster’s Department. The students saw the arrival of some of the first terns back to the island, along with a couple of Oystercatchers and their eggs. The Heart of Christmas457 viewsMarion’s First Congregational Church delivered the season’s perfection with Cassandra Morgan directing ‘The Heart of Christmas’ cantata. This annual event is sugar on the plums for anyone who appreciates live music. The combined voices and instruments of over 60 performers filled the church with pitch perfect music telling the story of Jesus’ birth.
