The results were 1st Lucas Marcolini, 2nd Brendan Hubbard, 3rd Nathaniel Bangs, and 4th Nate Robertson. All four move on to regional finals in New Bedford later this month. Other awards included, Best Theme to Connor Lavoie for his Batmobile, Best Design to David Strom for Kool Kone and Best Paint Job to Max Richins for Bulldog. Photos by Felix Perez

Celebrity sightings included Santa Claus on his carriage, the Grinch, the Nutcracker, and Sparky the Fire Dog. The Showstoppers and The Sippican School Marching Band lit up the afternoon until the tree lighting ceremony lit up the night, the finale of that starry-skied evening. Marion Village 5K468 viewsThe Marion Village 5K is in its 19th year, and over 250 participants turned out to run the 3.1-mile course along the waterfront and through the quaint Marion village.
