The turnout exceeded past Kids Equipment Fun Day events in Marion, especially last year’s, which was repeatedly postponed and then canceled altogether. Occasion Singers437 viewsLeft: The Marion Art Center celebrated Valentines Day a few days early as they welcomed the Occasion Singers for a sold out performance during the center’s Cabaret Night of Love Songs on Saturday evening, February 11. The capacity crowd was treated to a night of jazz, pop, older standards and love songs from the Tri-Town based vocal group. Marion Natural History Museum437 viewsOn Wednesday, Dec. 10th, the Marion Natural History Museum afterschool group enjoyed working on crafts from nature and recycled materials. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this such a happy and fun-filled event. Many, many thanks to Grace Moran for her kind donation of frames complete with glass, which the students used to create their own masterpieces for gift-giving.
