Dr. Burns is a veterinarian on Cape Cod and enjoys sharing his knowledge of shark species and their natural history with the public. Super Duper Summer Fair406 views The First Church of Marion held its Annual Super Duper Summer Fair on July 25. The fundraising event is a familiar, welcome event every summer in Marion, and it has something to offer everyone. Each teacher devised their own scavenger hunt for the kids that helped the students discover their classrooms. This show celebrates the immense talent of the Sippican School students and will include several works from each grade level, representing various subjects and mediums.

Living History 406 viewsIt looked like July 8, 1776 at Silvershell Beach in Marion this past Saturday. Folks from the Fairhaven Village Militia and Wareham Militia Group in conjunction with Marion Recreation and the Marion Cultural Council took spectators back in time to Colonial Massachusetts during a weekend-long encampment at the beach. Participants in olde-tyme apparel demonstrated what life was like in the 1770s during the Revolutionary War through demonstrations of drilling, cooking, and flintlock musket use. Photos by Jean
