VIP Treatment404 viewsSeven-year-old Brady Weglowski from Mattapoisett was named VIP and given the title of Ambassador for a day as part of a program through Healing Little Hearts and Boston Children’s Hospital. Brady (right), who suffers from a congenital heart defect, and classmate Ty Dumas traveled by motorcade with diplomatic security to meet with Gov. Deval Patrick, who showed the children his collection of challenge coins. Patrick also provided Brady with a citation to commemorate the visit.

Sippican School Open House404 viewsSippican School students had the chance to meet their teachers and discover their classrooms on August 31, the final day of school vacation. Each teacher devised their own scavenger hunt for the kids that helped the students discover their classrooms. The Sippican Womans Club held a house tour that included all the landmarks stops in the Village, including the Marion Art Center and the Sippican Historical Society.
