Youngsters gather last Thursday for the Mattapoisett Historical Society’s event making boats out of recycled materials. Rainy conditions only added to the fun, as the kids were able to test the seaworthiness of their crafts in a small pool outside of the museum. Photos by Shawn Badgley.
