Several hundred people came out to enjoy the annual Arts in the Park fundraiser hosted by the Marion Art Center on July 10. Forty artists who had been invited by a MAC jury to participate featured their crafts and art objects. The jury ensures the quality of the items on display and also gives up-and-coming artisans a platform to showcase their work. Strolling along the paths, people found pottery, wearable art, custom crafted furniture, and a wide variety of jewelry. Photos by Marilou Newell
