Tabor Academy Presents Business Ideas

It’s 6:00 am. A mother and daughter occupy a table in their local café brainstorming get rich quick schemes to pay for college. Meanwhile, across the café, an over-educated and underpaid barista studies her increasingly unhinged customers, trying to figure out how everyone else pays the bills. So goes Tabor Academy’s fall drama, Business Ideas, by Milo Cramer. Equal parts hilarious and insightful, Business Ideas is a timely meditation on how much, and how little, we all know about the “business” of living. The play — directed by Jesse Hawley — stars Lucy Brophy, Thannamthip Chong, Gray Liu, Luke Machnik, Dora Shen, Wendy Xue and Roy Zha, with Andrea Yin as the stage manager. The play runs from Thursday, November 5 to Saturday, November 7, at 7:30 pm at the Will Parker Black Box Theater. Tickets are free of charge with a reservation at www.taboracademy.org/box-office.
