Hook's Head 155 viewsHook's Head is in County Wexford, Ireland. As the oldest, intact, functional lighthouse in the world, it was constructed in 1172 by Knight William Marshall. There are 115 stairs to the top of the tower which is constructed of local limestone with walls measuring 4 meters thick.
