Cinco de Mayo346 viewsAfter hosting a successful fundraiser, a “Cinco de Mayo” luncheon, at Mattapoisett Congregational Church, the church Missions Committee presented a $750 check to the American Legion on Depot Street on Wednesday, May 15. The $750 will help the Legion pay for the installation of a new furnace thus saving on heating costs and enabling the Legion to continue renting the popular building to local groups.
