Helping the Homeless643 viewsStudents in Old Rochester Regional Junior High School’s Enrichment Program have been collecting goods to help make the lives of several struggling families a bit brighter this holiday season. As a reminder of their efforts, they recently set up a makeshift homeless shelter in the junior high school lobby. Fish Story671 viewsThe Buzzards Bay Anglers Club hosted the First Annual Gus Casassa Scup Cup fishing tournament at the Mattapoisett Wharves on Saturday, July 11. The event attracted about 20 youngsters aged twelve and younger with each child receiving a new fishing rod and reel as part of their entry.
