ORR Gets Gold781 viewsOn Sunday, April 1, the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School Band received a gold medal at the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Music Festival at Foxboro High School. Seven schools throughout the state hosted this weekend-long festival. This is the first gold medal for the 78-member junior high school ensemble. The concert band will be performing at Symphony Hall on Saturday, April 21 at 10:30 am and admission is free.33333

ORR Walk For Hunger672 viewsThe Old Rochester Regional High School Youth Council joined forces with the Church of the Pines and the Marion Congregational Church youth groups for the Walk for Hunger in Boston on May 6. This is the third year the group has walked as the Hunger Commission of Southeastern Massachusetts team. During the trip, the students visited the Hispanic Society Museum to view art and archeological artifacts from various Spanish artists and cultures.
