Recycling Friends974 viewsThe recycling team at Friends Academy has been hard at work. To date, they have recycled 2.705 tons of paper which earned Friends Academy $13.52. In addition they have saved 18 cubic yards of landfill space and 11098 KWH of electricity, which prevented 5.42 tons of carbon dioxide from being released into the atmosphere. Students Sowing Seeds972 viewsSecond graders at Rochester Memorial School received a grant of 200 bulbs from the North American Flowerbulb Wholesales Association, and small groups of students set the 178 bulbs around the school’s sign and on either side of the front door earlier this week.
