ORR Football Dinner 20061119 viewsThe ORR High School Football teams marked the end of their season by holding their First Annual Football Dinner and Alumni Social at the Knights of Columbus Hall on the eve of their Thanksgiving Day game against Apponequet High School. Organized by Head Coach Henry Quinlan, the dinner was a chance for the ORR football program to reflect on the 2006 season as well as a chance to welcome back former players and coaches. Locks of Love1117 viewsWhile getting a back to school haircut, Camryn McNamara of Mattapoisett recently donated over 13 inches of hair to the charity “Locks of Love.” The organization provides wigs to children suffering from Alopecia or long-term hair loss due to illness. Camryn is a second grader at Center School in Mattpoisett and hopes some of her classmates might think about doing the same. “It made me feel very happy to give someone my hair who doesn’t have any,” she said.
