Crocodile River Music171 viewsOn Saturday, May 17, as part of Art Week, the Marion Arts Center presented Crocodile River Music performing West African music and dance in Marion's Music Hall to an audience of about 70 people. Waterway Clean-up170 viewsKyle Kossak caused some concern when he was spotted in his kayak in Hiller Cove off Aucoot Road, but it turns out the mechanical engineer from Newport, Rhode Island, was not shell fishing, he was cleaning up trash along Mattapoisett’s shoreline. For several years now, Kossak has made a weekly hobby of picking out spots along the southern New England shoreline, taking his kayak out to selected sites and retrieving trash.
