Rochester Country Fair 428 viewsThe Rochester Country Fair rolled into town on Thursday, August 18, filled the air with the sweet smells of Italian sausage and fried fair food, mixed with the smoke of diesel engines, and created that magical scent we all relish until the fair wrapped up on Sunday, August 21. Tractor pulls, animal shows, kids’ games, music, and wrestling (including the match between The Aardvark and Buck Chuck) delighted us while it lasted in the bucolic setting of Rochester, Massachusetts. Rochester’s Tree Lighting428 viewsRochester’s star-topped tree outside the Town Hall is dazzling this year with its new multi-colored lights lit for the first time on December 3 for the annual Rochester tree lighting ceremony. Raising over $7,000, owner/operator Pam Robinson said this year’s event was “absolutely over the top!” The shelter is in the process of building an addition to create a cat room and a porch. “I cannot thank everyone enough for their wonderful donation and participation,” said Robinson.
