Circus Time548 viewsThe Cole Brothers Circus made its annual visit to Rochester's Plumb Corner on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25. The Circus, which featured highflying aerial acts, animal acts and plenty of clowns played four shows under the big top during its two-day stay. Proceeds from the circus will help to fund children's events throughout the year at Plumb Corner such as the Annual Easter egg hunt and the Halloween party. Photo by Robert Chiarito

RMS Auction547 viewsRochester went Hollywood on Friday, March 26, 2010 when the Rochester Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO) hosted a live auction with a Hollywood theme. The auction raised nearly $6,000, and that money will be used to pay for new playground equipment. Rochester Bakery Fire547 viewsA fire on July 28, 2011 completely gutted the Rochester Bakery and Cafe, located at 28 Marion Road in Rochester. Rochester, Mattapoisett, Marion and Acushnet fire departments responded to the conflagration.
