Judo Champ540 viewsAlyssa Quaintance of Rochester took first place in the 5- to 6-year-old division at Pedro's Judo Challenge held on February 23 in Wakefield, MA and first place again at the Ocean State International in RI on March 1. These were both high level tournaments with international players. Alyssa went 3-0 in both tournaments. Rochester Crimebusters540 viewsThe Crimebusters, a “Destination Imagination” team from Rochester’s Memorial School, won first place for their challenge at the recent Region 10 tournament. The team will be going on to the State Finals on Saturday, April 12 in Worcester, MA. The team is comprised of Grade 4 and 5 students and this is their third year together.
