Mass Mini Tractor Pullers 349 viewsThe Rochester Country Fairgrounds hosted a tractor pull of the Mass Mini Tractor Pullers Association on October 10. The tractors are hand-built by their owners, using naturally-aspirated auto engines that are 500-1,000 horsepower. Sowing the Seeds of Peace349 viewsA ginkgo biloba sapling from a 250-year-old mother tree that survived the A-bombing of Hiroshima was planted in Rochester last week. The mother tree was 1,500 yards from ground zero and survived the blast. The sapling was donated to the town from past Town Administrator Michael McCue, who acquired it from The United Nations Green Legacy Hiroshima Initiative.
