No-Shave November425 viewsCosmetology students at Old Colony gave five Rochester Police officers a shave and a haircut on November 30, marking the end of No-Shave November. The officers raised over $1,500 letting their facial hair grow out, a no-no for the rest of the year for the officers. Cat Tails and Cocktails 425 viewsIt’s All About the Animals last Thursday held an invitation-only cocktail party to celebrate the opening of its new addition and “catio” (cats + screened-in patio= catio). The addition was dedicated to contractor Matthew Sherman, who passed away before completion of the project. Car Show Dreams424 views108 cars attended the A Wish Come True car show on October 11, 2009 at Rochesters Plumb Corner. Each vehicle owner paid to attend the show, and the proceeds went to the organization, which works to grant wishes to children ages 3-18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.
