Leaving Portland, Oregon on May 2, the two childhood friends arrived at Buteyne’s parents’ driveway about a month earlier than anticipated, greeted by family, friends, confetti, cookies, and of course, hugs. Children and their grandparents had fun playing bean-bag toss, bocce, posing with the Three Stooges, and more. The face-painting and petting zoo areas were a complete hit! Car Show Dreams353 views108 cars attended the “A Wish Come True” car show on October 11, 2009 at Rochester’s Plumb Corner. Each vehicle owner paid to attend the show, and the proceeds went to the organization, which works to grant wishes to children ages 3-18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.
