Christmas Baskets440 viewsOn Tuesday, December 20, Rochester Facilities Manager Andrew Daniel was tying perfect Christmas bows to top off gift baskets for Rochester families purchased with donations from Town Hall staff and town boards and committees. Four families this year will receive a Christmas meal in a basket thanks to the efforts of all at Town Hall. Altogether $1,400 was raised at Town Hall, with half going to the gift baskets and the other half towards other town Christmas charities. Photos by Jean Perry

108th Annual Rochester Grange Fair 440 viewsThe 108th Annual Rochester Grange Fair was held on August 18 with a wide variety of produce, floral bouquets, baked goods, handicrafts, and works of art. The state first place winner for her diorama depicting a barn that contained fresh eggs and produce was Susan Guiducci of Dartmouth. There were a total of 35 entries vying for other blue ribbons in many other categories. Sue LaFluer, grange secretary and one of the fair organizers said that participants ranged in age from 6 years of age and beyond.
