Summer Reading Program485 viewsPlumb Library had a party on Saturday, September 15, 2012, to celebrate the success of its summer reading program, "Dream Big: Read." They did a different style of program this year which was open to students and their families, as well as their teachers. Students chose their own books and logged their hours a website. Cottage Restored485 viewsA family has restored an old 1925 stone cottage on Snipatuit Pond in Rochester to its original state, and owner Andrea King gave a presentation on the restoration process to the Rochester Historical Society who got to see step by step how the King family, living in the U.S. Virgin Islands, brought the little cottage back to life to make it their second home.
