The training was sponsored by the Autism and Law Enforcement Coalition (ALEC) and led by an area firefighter who is the parent of an autistic child.

Proceeds from the event will go to several charities in the state such as the Jimmy Fund and Dana- Farber Cancer Institute to assist in cancer research.
