Scouts Honored703 viewsTechnical Sergeant Christopher Qubeck from the Air National Guard, Otis AFB recently presented Boy Scout Troop 53 of Mattapoisett with a flag flown on a combat mission over Iraq, along with a commendation from the US Air Force for their work in sending care packages to soldiers overseas during the past couple of years. Technical Sergeant Qubeck presented the flag and certificate to Mattapoisett Scoutmaster Ron Ellis and Senior Patrol Leader Bryan Buckley at the opening ceremony for MassJam 2008.
