The event was hosted by an ad hoc group collecting donations for those battling cancer. The group has been successful in their efforts to help offset the unseen costs associated with a cancer diagnosis impacting local families. Dolls210 viewsDolls are said to have existed since the Paleolithic Era according to Jenny McIntyre, who on August 6 gave a presentation at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. The dolls on display spanned from the 1800s to the 1960s, looking out at the audience as McIntyre explained the composition of dolls through the ages.
