Mattapoisett Woman's Club254 viewsInclement weather forced the Mattapoisett Woman's Club to move its Holidays Wreath and Greens Sale indoors, and the club was thrilled that the December 3 event, with the assistance of MWC members Cindy Turse and Sandy Hering, Fire Chief Andy Murray and Town Administrator Mike Lorenco, was able to go on as scheduled in the Old Firehouse on Route 6. Wreaths sold out within the first hour of the sale, with swags, table pieces, box designs and special ornaments, all exquisitely hand-decorated

Buffet-style food tables featured delicious items from local restaurants and shops, from donuts to pizza to Chinese offerings and more. Santa and Mrs. Claus were on hand for little ones to share their wishes for a special gift, while elves, Frosty, and one of Santa's reindeer strolled the park spreading holiday cheer.
