An epidemiologist by day, Fuchs enjoys creating works from wood. Some have been created from an apple tree that once was a source of play for the Fuchs brothers. Lighthouse Tours738 viewsMattapoisett’s historic Ned’s Point Lighthouse (above), along with Marion’s Bird Island Lighthouse, will both be featured as part of the American Lighthouse Foundation’s tour of eight lighthouses along Cape Cod and Buzzards Bay on September 20. The lighthouse cruise is a fundraiser for the nonprofit American Lighthouse Foundation, based in Rockland, Maine, which cares for 20 historic lighthouses throughout the New England states of Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
