Lions Club Triathlon458 viewsUnder merciful overcast skies on July 15, the 37th annual Lions Club Triathlon found 115 participants including seven relay teams vying for first place bragging rights. Coming in 1st place in the men’s division was Brian Hughes with a time of 51:38 minutes. Dog's Beach457 viewsAmy Hardwick, a Mattapoisett resident, is petitioning to make Goodspeed Island the official dog beach in town. The town has been working to keep the dog waste bag dispenser full, after abutting neighbors have complained about trash and dog waste at Goodspeed.
