Salty's Hat415 viewsEarly this past Friday, December 1, as folks were rushing to work and children settling into school, an annual tradition transpired in Mattapoisett at the corner of Route 6 and North Street. With the placement of the Santa hat upon the head of our beloved Salty the Seahorse, the holiday season officially began. Mattapoisett Memorial Day415 viewsMattapoisett Board of Selectmen along with members of the American Legion Florence Eastman Post 280, Rep. William Straus, and special guest Col. Chris Kidd attended the Memorial Day observances at Center School on May 28.
