Annual Christmas Fair435 views The Church of St. Anthony of Padua in Mattapoisett held its annual Christmas fair on Saturday, November 30. The sale featured an array of hand-made artisan goods from custom Christmas tree ornaments to fine baked goods. Award of Excellence435 viewsThe Mattapoisett Lions Club announced the recipient of 2013 Mattapoisett Lion’s Club Award of Excellence in the amount of $5,000. This year’s recipient is Colleen Packard a senior at Bishop Stang High School who will be attending George Washington University in the fall and will be majoring in chemistry. She is recognized for her work in community service, her goals when she completes her studies and her academic record.
